In this podcast we talk with Dr. Jay Caulfield, author of How to Design and Teach a Hybrid Course: Achieving Student-Centered Learning through Blended Classroom, Online and Experiential Activities from Stylus Press. The book explores design guidelines and methods to use in teaching student-centered hybrid (or blended) courses. She describes ways to plan a hybrid course to foster discussion and interaction as well as creating small learning groups in live and online settings.
Dr. Caulfield is associate dean of the School of Professional Studies at Marquette University where she develops and teaches courses in leadership theory, organizational behavior, and research methods.
